Standing Order

Regular donations to the parish can be made by standing order.

What is a standing order?
It is a payment made directly from your bank account to the parish. It is also very flexible - you decide it's frequency (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and you can easily increase, decrease, pause or stop your gift at any time. It is one of the easiest and most secure ways of giving.

How to set it up?
You can set up a standing order directly with your bank: on-line, by telephone, post or in-branch. You will need to provide yours and parish's bank details and the amount, frequency and the date when you want the first gift payment to be made.

Parish bank account details:
Bank name: Barclays Bank
Account number:7088 8516
Sort code: 20-55-34

If you wish to set up a standing order either by post or in-branch, please use the Standing Order Form.

After you have set up your standing order, please let Fr Farrell know.

Make your donation go further

If you are UK taxpayer and have employment or pension income of at least £11k per year, you can also boost your donation by 25% at no extra cost to you. This will allow St Joseph's to claim extra £2.5 from the Government for every £10 you give.

All you need to do is to fill in a Gift Aid declaration form and return it to Fr Farrell. This will enable the parish to reclaim from the Government some of the income tax you've already paid. If you make a declaration and then change your name or address or no longer pay sufficient amount of income tax, please let us know.

For more information about the gift aid scheme, please see Gov.uk website.
